Odd stats of the Mavs game

Post#1 » by Fencer reregistered » Sun Jan 25, 2009 11:50 pm

On both teams, the leading rebounder was the point guard.
On both teams, the leading scorer was the backup point guard.

True, Kidd was in a 3-way tie for leading rebounder, House was in a three-way tie for leading scorer, and House isn't clearly used as a PG these days. Still, that's my stats story and I'm sticking to it! ;)

This is the only possible match up in the league where both teams could be led by their points in rebounds. Good job noticing it.

That was a fun, easy game.

Kidd has more size and strength while Rondo has more quickness, but even so their games are conceptually similar.

Rondo just needs to become even as good an outside shooter as Kidd. ;)

Sorry man, but House didn't play point guard. So it doesn't count :)

House sure is playing GREAT as our backup shooting guard though!
