I haven't been able to keep people up on things as much as I'd like lately. And for that I apologize, I miss spending time on here, especially during such a great run for our team. But, I've had lots going on, that goes along with a recent los in our family, and needing to take care of lots of issues that need taken care of.
But, I'm sitting on about four nice pieces that I'll finally try and get updated, and ready to fill everyone in on what things are going on with us, and where our eveolving mindset is...
Two sided coin here with Sasha... he's increasing his value on the trade market, and he's upped his value to the team at the same time ...which isn't too hard to figure out. But, he could serve as a key piece to a future trade ...or factor into why we may look to go in the direction of a big man in any future deal.
But, in my mind, I believe Sasha's best work has always come with a solid starting role defined for him. That said, it's not going to happen here in the longterm. Whereas, Delonte can be very valuable either as a starter or off the bench.
But, in terms of Mike Miller ...his name had been out in trade conversations with teams, but not with us, at the time I wrote about that scenario. He's been brought up in conversations with us, but, I don't see us making that move, and us seeing it as not narly enough of an upgrade to warrant to move of given assets.
I have a gut feeling that if a trade is made, it will be for a significant upgrade, and may not only include Wally, but, possibly our #1 pick, and even the possibility of Sasha if that given scenario is good enough.
I'm not as up on what is current, like in the last five days, but, lots of really nice options are out there for us. Some would require more of a shakeup than we want to have this team have to adjust to, which is unfortunate ...because it would be a big improvement in the longterm, but might set us back due to chemistry disruption this year, and that's not going to happen.
Danny is going to be very careful and not be quick to make a move. He's stil got two dream scenarios that he's sitting on in hopes that something could possibly happen, but, to be honest, I think they would have a better chance next season rather than this season ...or possibly during the offseason... we'll see.
I'll be getting alot ready for your consumption this weekend. I'm getting ready to sit back and watch lots of TV this weekend, watch the Steelere get beaten dopwn by the Cards, and basically devote the weekend to RCF, relaxation, and sports in general.

Thanks for the post bcortell.
The post just emphasizes patience in waiting toward the trade deadline to maximize the expiring trade assets the CAVs have. Keeping Wally expiring would be preferential instead of taking on salary for a small marginal upgrade like Mike Miller who some fans seem to be wishing for.
