Looks good D-WestFan. I like the picture of LeBron/Dwight. Thanks for getting this one up early as possible. Hopefully, you'll do a few more of these whenever you feel like it. It's not for sure Z plays, but I'm hoping he can play. Go Cavs, looking forward to this one.

I imagine Andy will be starting no matter if Z plays or not.
Is Larry Hughes having fun yet?

Not a bad game thread at all. Although, I think you should use some bold text and colors. :)

As for the game... If Z is back, I'd still expect Andy to start. But whatever it is, we can't play the defense like we did against Sacramento.. Orlando is very dangerous with their 3 point shooting.

By the way, I like that picture of Howard dunking over Hughes.

We're going to lose. Good thing: We can afford it.

With the way Sacramento shot the long ball last night, this one will be a blowout if we continue to show a lack of defensive effort like that.

Magic fan here; For the record, 99% certain that Courtney Lee will be starting and not Mickael Peitrus. Atleast, thats what I hope will happen.

Good luck tomorrow, guys. I personally just ask for an entertaining game. Blowouts are boring, so win or lose, I hope its close.

I think the Cavs will rise to the challenge in this one. They don't typically lay eggs against good teams, so even though our D has been spotty the last few, I think they will bring it against ORL.

I think our defensive strategy will be to stay at home on Howard and defend him 1 on 1 with Varejao and hopefully Big Z. If he scores 30+, so be it. But stay home on the shooters.

We will need some production from the bench to get this one - Boobie/Wally/JJ - one of them will have to step up

The lastest wiretap says they wont rush Big Z back. So I wouldn't be surprised if he's still out for this game.

I'm glad this one is on TNT. Only two games on the night, our game and the PHX/SAS game following it up. Should have a ton of viewers anticipating this matchup, not just our fans and the Magic fans. I would not rush Z back for just one game, especially to be banging around with Howard in the paint. That said, it would be huge for our offense if he returns. It could pull Howard out of the paint a little since he has to respect Z's midrange jumpshot. That would definately help open the lane up for LeBron. I agree with BB, we'll need a big game from one of Gibson/Pavlovic/Wally from outside. The other key is going to be the rebounding. With how many three's the Magic will be tossing up, it's important to limit them from second opportunities if they do miss them. If the Cavs are rebounding, playing D like normal(not like the past two games), and limiting the turnovers. I think the Cavs win. If Orlando is draining 3's all over the place and forcing the Cavs into a more uptempo game. Then I think the Magic will win. It should be a good one.

From Maximus on RCF about Z:

"OK, so apparently a decision came down from above this afternoon to hold him out tomorrow. They dont want to start him out on a back to back....they want to be cautious and bring him back Friday. I get the feeling the decision might get appealed tomorrow during shootaround....no idea if mgmt will budge or not. He made the flight to Orlando."

and

"They had a good two hour+ practice today before their flight. I'm guessing they figure another day of rest tomorrow is the wiser choice of the two. I don't think they are too concerned about the fans wanting to see a mid season matchup between us and Orlando. I also think they are pretty confident they can win tomorrow shorthanded. This team has a ton of confidence right now."

The weird part is that I think regardless of how well Z starts he will get better as the season goes on or at least get the respect he deserves. i worry more about Delonte coming back at a high level. And then whether he does or he doesn't, then Pavs keeping his confidence and hopefully stealing the minutes from Wally before he is traded so we can stay strong on TOP of the East and not trying to fight to get to the top. But that is just my personal opinion.

A local article on choosing to start a franchise with Lebron or Dwight. Entertaining and rather unbaised. Enjoy and good luck.

If you had to start a franchise, would you take Magic all-star center Dwight Howard, 23, or the Cavs all-star small forward LeBron James, 24?

Two teams fighting for #1 in the East?

I think this is big game for sure.

Maybe not your thinking, but you do not play for the Cavs.
I think the players have had this one circled for a few weeks.

as stan would say, if they give us 2 wins instead of 1 then its a big game. other than that i dont see this as being that big of a game, as opposed to the one in april. the only reason this game might be pumped up, is because its only 1 of 3 against you guys and a 2-1 victory in the season series gives us the tie-breaker...anywho, good luck tonight and hopefully its a tough fought victory (for us that is :))
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

Should be a good game, I just hope Orlando settles down a little bit with all those 3 pointers they've been making lately...
