I don't.

I never liked LeBron. Maybe it's because I live in DC and it's in the water here but I can't stand him. I see him flop for calls too much, and when you're that good why do you need to flop for calls? I remember last year he got checked in the chest and he flies back 5 feet and gets up checking his lip for blood. Maybe he's mature physically, but he still has some growing up to do mentally.

Kobe is the best player on this planet. He's the perfect balance of finesse and aggression. You can't take any part of his game away and expose his weaknesses because he has none. You can force LeBron to shoot or you can foul him and I guarantee he won't go 20-20 like Kobe. Kobe just has this other level he goes to, it's unbelievable. The fiercest competitor I've ever seen.

Evidently you never saw Michael Jordan. That guy was insanely competitive. I think Kobe is the second best player, but LeBron has a better all around game, and if that man drives to the hoop, you absolutely, positively, cannot stop him. He is too big and too strong. The thing that bugs me about Kobe is that you always hear about guys who say they hated playing with him. He strikes me as kind of a prima donna.

Kobe plays to win. Lebron does, also. Last season the best player was Kobe Bryant, but I'm making the case that this year, if Lebron isn't in front, then they are very even.

No I saw Mike. The fiercest competitor ever was admittedly a bit of a stretch, it was more comparing him to LeBron.

I agree that it's very hard to stop LeBron if he's driving to the hoop. However, you can foul him and the probability is much lower that he hits both than finishes at the rim. You can also pack the paint and force his teammates to beat you, like the Celtics and Spurs did in the Finals.

It's funny you mention Kobe being a prima donna when the same thing bugs me about LeBron. Just the way he carries himself... I don't like it. Kobe at least, has the mutual respect for his opponents. I see him helping another player from the opposing team up off the ground. After the game you hear him respecting the other team and so on. LeBron can't stand not getting everything his way. For example the "Crab Dribble" vs the Wizards. He's got away with it before, even in the playoff series' against the Wiz and he thinks he will continually get away with it. One time the refs don't give him the benefit of the doubt, he refuses to acknowledge it, and he even goes as far to say that he would have a three point play out of it. So he expects the ref to not only let him walk, but call the three point play after he walks, at the end of a game, potentially winning it.

Maybe a couple guys said they didn't like playing with Kobe, but I don't think any would turn it down if given the opportunity. If the numbers show it or not, there's no denying he makes the game easier for is teammates.
