His cast is off and he's 3 weeks away is what I read earlier this week. The article did say though that he's practicing his left hand with Kiki though.

I think he is. I think Ryan is great but Yi has a higher ceiling if he developed his confidence and had a better coach.

I think Anderson has the ceiling of a quality 6 man/1st big man off the bench. I think Yi's ceiling could be an all-star if he can grasp the game.

is yi coming back next tuesday?

heres a fantasy tab:

Tue, Feb 10 F Yi Jianlian, who broke his right pinkie Jan. 9 and missed the last 16 games before the All-Star break, is optimistic of returning Tuesday when the Nets resume the schedule in Houston.

The trade deadline is approaching in a week’s time, but the New Jersey Nets are set to receive a boost without making a move: second-year forward Yi Jianlian is soon expected to return after missing five weeks with a broken pinkie finger on his shooting hand.

NJN: That’ll happen, ha. How’s it feeling?

Yi: It feels good. I’ve been shooting, dribbling. Should be able to play this week. I’m going to see the doctor (Friday), we’ll see.
