Granger Enjoying Attention

Post#1 » by APerna » Sat Feb 7, 2009 3:26 pm

Obviously, with his great play this season and his first All-Star berth, Danny Granger is starting to get a lot of national attention. Mike Wells of the Star wrote this: http://www.indystar.com/article/2009020 ... 8/SPORTS04 about some of the opportunities that he's had.

He'll be featured in an ESPN Magazine piece soon, an interview with John Thompson on TNT early next week, and an upcoming episode of MTV's Cribs.

It's awesome that he's getting so much attention, but he's been getting it at RealGM for years :)

I'm not trying to pump myself at all, but I thought a look back at Danny earlier in his career would be entertaining.

Nice articles man. It's amazing how far he's came these past couple seasons. It's awesome having a star on the team again.

And so he should be. There has been a tremendous amount of Granger bashing on other RealGM boards for a couple of years now. I even caught a thread recently where some posters still think he is only a third option for some teams.

I love that he has been able to prove he can be a proven scorer and quality offensive weapon in the NBA. He's worked extremely hard in a difficult situation and deserves his kudos.

The writer for those articles...I don't know, he seems like a huge Pacers homer.

Is there something wrong with a person if they happen to be positive?

I'm kidding with you, PP.

These are good articles. I'm feigning ignorance.

I was kidding back, maybe we should use the customary "green" font when being sarcastic? ;)

Nice job! Just please don't find earlier posts where I said I thought Shawne would be better than Granger. :banghead: I also said we could've traded Granger while his "stock was high" and start Shawne at SF. Me is not very undumb.

Random question: Why do some mods have the green, or whatever other color? Are green writers? What about the others, just curious.

Green are global Mods that mod more than one board or mod a whole area. Regular mods just mod one or two boards.

I remember as far back as the this past season, I was in favor of trading Danny to PDX... Now, I would not in a million times make that trade(I am not going to say what it was, as I would look ridiculously dumb...)

Return to Indiana Pacers
