Al Jeff out for season

Post#1 » by PerkinsFor3 » Mon Feb 9, 2009 9:53 pm

which means:

- Kevin Love will ruin frontcourts in extended minutes and will have a crash course nba player relevancy
- Craig Smith will see some more minutes but still won't be of any use fantasy wise
- Gomes will get more minutes and touches but still is a mediocre player
- Randy Foye has no more excuses and should be the clear #1 option for this team from here on out
- Rodney Carney: I see his name being mentioned as a player who's value should increase. I have no idea why, but I'd like it

Thoughts? Will Mike Miller step up?

I like Craig Smith. McHale gave him a lot of run when he first took over and he put up decent numbers. I think he can produce. However, I believe he is out with some rib problems now. So I think it's wait and see with him.

I can't bring myself to drop Big Al. I need to, but I can't.

Looking at boxscore, seemed like a 3-headed monster of Carney/Smith/Cardinal (16-18 mins each). Even Madsen got 8+ minutes.

I love AJ's game, but perhaps this is good to see just how good Love is. In the end it's good to trade AJ away since he is terrible o D.
