#23 to #6

Post#1 » by Cleveland Fan » Tue Feb 17, 2009 11:36 pm

Lebron says #6 is also his number, & that he might change from #23 to #6. Could this be a way of trying to get a player to come to the CAV's in a trade? The player could continue to wear his #23 after coming to over. Just a thought.

You are completely overthinking it. #6 is simply his number for the Olympics and the number he wears during practice. This doesn't signify anything related to a trade.

I agree with you but the timing just seems strange. Camby would look good on the CAV's.

I think its a good move if he changes his number. He could make his own legacy and make the number 6 look historic for future generations.

I personally think Bron should have his "own" number as whenver you think 23 you think Jordan. Kobe is 8/24, AI was the original #3, VC took 15 etc. But he idolized jordan so i guess its alright.
The answer to all of life's questions is Kevin Nash.

magic fan here with an explanation. he actually said (it was on the wiretap earlier this month) that the reason for the change would be if the nba decided to retire #23 altogether (like #42 for jackie robinson is baseball), he would switch to 6, his olympic number and the number he wears in practice
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

He's been beat to 6. Does NOBODY remember Dr. J?!

Plus, Lebron wants to be Jordan. He wont change numbers. Once he gets to the Knicks, Q will be gone by then, he'll get 23.
Yeah, I said it.
