Obviously we would like to see that list grow. But I have to tell you if it doesn't I would take a fat drunk Antoine Walker over Bonzi Wells or Ruben Patterson.

I know people freak out about him all the time but Doc liked him and while he can be a problem as a 2nd or 3rd offensive option as a guy coming in off the bench that isn't going to be an issue.

We could do worse than a couple of months of the Wiggle, I mean we are hoping to add Stephon Marbury at least Antoine is a good person.

I'd take Ruben Patterson over Antoine the reason being Ruben is a true small forward and would defend Bron better than Antoine. But Smith & Starbury are who we really want.

Toine is D O N E done. I dont know why that guy said he is a good rebounder anymore. Last time I checked he just camped out at the three point line, and on d he use to get torched by other teams small forwards. Him at PF is bad to because they just eat him up on the defensive end. He is all done.

I'd stand pat before resigning Antoine.

Ruben Patterson is a nice piece IMO.

HE has issues, but is a pretty nice lockdown defender with toughness and I think he would fit into the team concept Boston is going for. He may be able to fill the void left by Posey and the injured Allen.

As far as a big, Joe Smith would be a nice option for the Celtics, but I feel like he would go back to CLE if he got bought out.

Do you guys feel like you are loaded up enough at present for a repeat or do you feel like it is an absolute nessicity to get some vets in there?

I dont know about Patterson, if he didnt play for months he could be very rusty...Wells is the player I wants all season, but I think Danny doesnt like him.

Wells, Marbury, Smith is my dream scenario(Cut Pruitt, resign him in summer)

Rumors Wrapup

Excerpt:
A few rumors still shaking out after the deadline from the Weekend Dime:

Sounds like the Celtics recruitment team is working on that Starbury guy:

My colleague Stephen A. Smith, meanwhile, reported on ESPNEWS earlier this week that a couple of members of the Celtics have privately challenged Marbury to abandon his hard-line stance and give up a few million bucks in negotiations with the Knicks to secure his freedom and prove to the basketball world that he can make an off-the-bench impact with the reigning champs.
