NBA Dynasty Series - Chicago Bulls - 1990s and MJ Ultimate

Post#1 » by JordansBulls » Sun Feb 22, 2009 3:38 am

I'm curious on how many of you have actually seen or who have the Chicago Bulls Dynasty series of the 1990's or the MJ Ultimate DVD's.

If not, then it is a great collection to have.

I have all six VHS tapes from the dynasty series, i am not going to waste money on the same thing just for DVD purposes plus NBA TV always shows them in the offseason.

I have them both. I just wish they had more than five of Mike's best games on there.

I don't understand why it doesn't have more games on it. The Knicks DVD series has 8 full games I believe.
I wish that the Bulls vs Pacers game 7 1998 and Bulls vs Knicks Game 7 1992 was on it those were historic games. If we lost those games our dynasty would have never happened or would have ended.

I'm not quite sure why the NBA doesn't just sell DVDs of their games straight up. I would easily invest in Jordan games, and I'm sure Laker, Celtics, and Knick fans would do the same for their teams.

I definitely agree. Or even by seasons, I'd pair a pretty good price for Bulls games season by season. That would be awesome.

Heck, I'd even buy the seasons from the 'Dark Years'.
Why so serious?

Edit: I actually found a site that has pretty much every Bulls game during the MJ era for the playoffs. I just ordered the Bulls vs Pacers game 7 1998 and Bulls vs Knicks Game 7 1992 playoffs. They charge 10 bucks and it is on DVD. I'll let you know how the quality is when I get them. I had to pay by using PayPal.

Does anyone have that video of the 1991 Championship? It is said to have all 5 games of the NBA finals on it.

I was wondering if it was worth getting? Personally I like Games 2 and 3 the best and game 5 is on the Dynasty DVD.

Not sure I really want to watch a game we lost in game 1 though.

I just got the Bulls vs Knicks Game 7 1992 semifinals in the mail along with the Bulls vs Pacers Game 7 ECF 1998. I watched the 1992 game so far and the quality is pretty good. I'll watch the other one later tonight or tomorrow.

I know for awhile you could buy the online version of any game you wanted through google videos. I'm not sure if they stopped that. It was pretty cheap too.

I'd imagine the reason they don't normally don't sell any game is because of the lack of volume. Without getting volume of 1000+ per game it's unlikely worth the production cost to do it.
