I for once applaud him for being the only Jazz person getting some recongition. Perhaps his 2nd strongest year to be chosen Coach of the Year.

Everyone is happy for Coach, but Coach of the Month doesn't mean a whole lot, it's not like he's doing something different coaching this month then he did for the past 20 years.

This achievement is overlooked due to the fact that Deron was raped, and yes I mean raped of the Player of the Month award and the fact that Sloan hasn't ever won COY.
