Glad that Perk is being recognized for his defense. Too many of us on this board do not give him credit for his contribution to the team concept.

If dude developed some type of an offensive threat in his game, he would probably be an all-star center. But he is great...us Boston fans know how big Perk is to this team.. GIT EM PERK!!!
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

I love when Perk gets some credit, he tends to be like the NBA's version of an good offensive lineman out there sometimes, he doesn't usually fill up a stat sheet but when he's not there you sure as hell miss him. Perk became my favorite player his second year when we were playing Indiana in the playoffs, he came in and immediately Jermaine O'neal tried to get cute while Perk was defending him, he tangled up with Perk trying to draw an offensive foul and 19 or 20 year old Perk simply twisted and threw J O'neal on the floor. He's come a long way on savvy and execution since then, but the attitude remains.

Return to Boston Celtics
