ahhhhhh I needed that.

man, KG was so great that year. Sam and Spree came in and were perfect compliments to his skill set. Everyone (except sam) in the starting lineup were excellent defenders and we had a bench that could put up some points. If only Sam would have been able to go against the Lakers, we had the passion and the momentum to take them out. Imagine if the Joe Smith thing would not have happened and we could have been developing players along the way. we could have rolled out a lineup like:

E. Johson / Madsen
Garnett / Verajo (04)
Sprewell / Prince (02)
Hassell / Szczerbiak
Cassell / Tony Parker (01)

A lot stronger team for the future. Replacements for both Cassell and Sprewell in place and who knows, Parker maybe could have pulled us through the laker series.

ohh well.

Where from? Is it that European website that has the playoff boxsets?

Ah, yes. That's the one I meant, but I had forgotten the name.

Shame they're so pricey.

I guess it would be worth it. then again the one copy that I already have of one Wolves game (KG scoring 47 on the Suns) has a major error in it. it lags every 5 seconds which makes it incredibly awful to watch. next time I have such a problem I'm going postal on pontel :D

Too bad BSPN classic never shows any recent classic NBA games and hardly ever a great wolves one. Man, I never knew the Target Center could get so loud.

The reaction of the crowd after KG hit that 3 in the last quarter was insane.

Yeah, seriously I got big time chills the first time I watched this. It's almost unreal. If we could just get half of the energy it would be amazing.

Its inexcusable, but I had forgotten that KG had a few low post moves, a few of them looked like Al Jefferson. I wonder how much of that came from the young players' coaching at MIN?

It's funny because besides Cassell and for the most part Spree, that was pretty much a scrub team. Hassell was a lock down defender but man, Irvin Johnson, Olawakandi? LOL. Just shows what good coaching and 3 solid star players can do. Also we had some good defense, KG was stealing balls 24/7 right there, I haven't seen D like that in a while from the wolves.

Dang....I miss KG. That season is what sucked me in from being a casual fan to a hardcore fan for life. Man I wish we were healthy in the WCF we could've given LA a run for their money. Good times.

That's why I'm saying, when you got a young talented player you got to do everything you can to put a team around him. Before you know it that 22 year old rising star will be a a 29 year old veteran and will be falling out of his prime. That's why i was so upset with the Cavs for not making significant moves. They have finally put a decent team around Lebron but you really have to push hard for it. We can't let Al suffer like this 3 or 5 years. We have to bring in some players to help him somehow some way. You have to get the stars.
