Predict Magic's record last 12 games

Post#1 » by Bruiser » Wed Mar 25, 2009 1:29 pm

Hey yo!

I think Magic are going to drop at least four games (Bos, Mia, Atl and Hou) and I can't see us losing more than two or three games (Atl, Clev). So tonight is a key matchup.

Any thoughts? Kind regards.

You know it was close. IF we had KG in the 4th we win easy. No problemo.

Because Jameer "two good seaons" Nelson is totally equivalent to Kevin "NBA Champ/Defensive Player of the Year/Perennial All-Star/Future HOFer" Garnett....right?

Well put insatiableone. i couldn'tve said it better myself.

I think its outrageous when people try to compare injured players. Same goes for Cavs fans when they say, "well even though you played w/o KG, we played without sasha or delonte" I mean, come on, do you really think that it has the same affect if Boston plays w/o KG as it does if Cle plays w/o Pavlovic lol.

No kidding...if we were comparing Sasha, Delonte, or Jameer to, say, Powe or Eddie, OK...but to KG? C'mon...

I really think skip to my lou is better than Jammer Nelson. Skip just know how to push the ball and when to take his shot. Jammer just kind of understands how to get his team looks, and is a self described shoot first PG.

You people are crazy if you don't think Jameer Nelson is a very, very good basketball player.

Rafer Alston bettter? C'mon. Just look at the shooting numbers. The turnover rates. Everything. Nelson was becoming an elite point guard this season.

Nelson is essentially equivalent to Rondo. Imagine losing Rondo on this team.

Anyway, I'll go 10-2.

Nelson *is* a very good player...but comparing him to KG? C'mon...what next, comparing Al Jefferson to Tim Duncan?

Nelson had a career year! He was amazing. Magic lost a lot with his injury especially the way he was shooting the ball in comparison to Alston...

Of course, his impact in comparison to KG`s is still a couple of levels lower...

Nelson insecurites also made ORL get rid of Arroyo. He would have been nice to have this year for the magic. That is the stuff, that truly takes away from a player.

No one is comparing him to KG. Some of you have just created a straw man argument for no **** reason.

^He hasn't been compared to KG directly but the argument was made his loss for the Magic was proportional to KG's for the C's, which is absurd...
