Man, at this rate no one else is going to get a chance to make one. After the next series split, someone else can take over. Not that I'm lazy or anything, just think maybe someone else wants to give it a try. :)

The Pitching Match-ups are:

Friday - Outman vs Purcey

Outman and Braden are Leftys so no Snider i guess :(

Snider has had 95 career at bats.

VS. Leftys he is 4 for 18 (.222) with 0 HRs and 1 RBI

VS. Rightys he is 24 for 77 (.311) with 5 HRs and 19 RBIs

oakland has a real knack for knocking down the jays whenever where doin well. I don't want to see anything good from Bobby Crosby and fricken mark ellis. Oakland always has a bunch of scrubs taken it to us. A series win would be great but i forsee losin 2 of 3 :(

Rios really needs to get going. He's been looking so out of place in this line up lately, and that will hurt us when some of these guys inevitably cool down. Same goes for Vernon to some extent.

GO Jays!! let's hope for big attendance numbers this weekend.. man the 3rd and 4th games of the detroit series were depressing (attendance-wise)... its a weekend series, hopefully fans show up and support the #1 team in the AL!

I had high hopes for him this season but he seems to be really low on confidence. I think he'll come around, its not like he's plate discipline has been terrible or anything, he's just in a terrible funk

Ok Ok

So my first non-perfect series prediction. I predicted our first sweep, and it was 4 games at the metrodome. (come on thats gutsy ****) ... it's a shame that extra innings prevented me from having a perfect record. Although I did say that we'd win 3-1 with no sweep!

Here it goes though:

You know the Jays want this sweep. I think our lineup is well structured and will be difficult for an inexperienced Oakland staff to breeze through, regardless of talent.

My prediction for this series will be a 3-0 sweep. It's time to get our brooms out.

So there you have it. 3-0 SWEEP, on the way.

This has been another edition of cxt's predic-SHUNZ

I hate to be the pessimist but I get a weird feeling the Jays will lose this series (but not get swept). Just a feeling though.

They always seem to lose to the As, no matter what the lineup. Should be an interesting series.
