A) Everyone shut up. Now. Ray had a bad game, offensively and defensively. But he's not worthless. This was quite possibly a career year for him.
B) Paul missed one free throw all game, yes it was big, but he didn't shoot poorly. I'm sorry he could only tie the game and send it to OT. How bout you go out there with 20,000 live fans and probably over a million people across the world watching you shoot two free throws that could indirectly affect not only your season but your career as a whole. Yeah I bet you don't make either.
C) Everyone deserves blame for this loss, not just Ray. Sure he's a little to blame, but so is Paul, so is Perk, so is Eddie etc.. Hell, even Rondo made some dumb passes. Point is, everyone as much to blame for this loss as they would be to thank for the win.
D) If you're convinced the Celtics are done, then stop watching. If they're done then you will have nothing to lose right?
E) Stop bitching about possibly not winning this year. We won last year, and every part of the way we did it was worth it. If you would take back the feeling of that championship for a few extra years of Big Al and the likes, you really didn't appreciate the championship. I wouldn't take back standing in that stadium last June with my father and brother with tears streaming down my face watching Paul hold up that trophy for anything in the world. We accomplished our goal, we got 17. If you're not on board and don't believe in 18, why bother being a fan at all? If you don't believe in them and their ability, you're missing the ship on fandom. Sorry "realists", that's the fact.
Once and for all, glasses up for those who beleive.
