Link to a Trade Proposal

Post#1 » by ecuhus1981 » Wed Apr 22, 2009 5:10 am

Hey all, Nets/Mavs fan here. I wanted to get an idea of what PHX fans thought of the trade proposal in this thread:

HOU-NOH-PHX

Please reply in the linked thread, not this one. Thanks.

Suns pass on this, rather easily.

Since they do not have their 2010 First Rounder, they need to do everything in their power to stay a playoff calibur team. this doesnt let them do it.

With T-Mac doubtful for pretty much the entire season, so he's basically a nonfactor. Peja is a pretty big injury risk too. what this leaves the suns with is a TALENTED team on papaer, that has way too many injury risks.

Hate to say it, but T-Mac is done. Has not and will not ever be the same since his injury. Peja is a choker, and would only add to our defensive crappyness. Who knows if Chandler will be ever be healthy again either. Basically we're giving up 2 useable guys with Barbosa, Richardson, and our giant expiring contract with Shaq for 2 injury prone players and one choker. Nice.

Health is the issue that would stop this trade from happening. Like asudevil said, we are talented on paper just like this year, but more injury prone. What hurts this trade is T-macs health as of now.

I think our staff could improve these players health, but by how much and could T-macs injury liger till the end of next season? I think this injury as of now might be a blessing in disguises for him because the dude needs to rest his body and allow things to heal and become stronger. Could he be a better resurrected Hill??? Maybe if he can get past this.

Im intrigued by the names, but I feel the suns would pass on this deal. Plus, i do not want Peja. He is a suns killer, but I rather take the inconsistent Barbs over him.

PASS. any trade involving TMac nowadays is scary. not to mention HOU was trying to throw him to the dogs before the trade deadline.
