4.34 speed, from Abilene Christian, the same school as Daniel Manning.

Still looking for that safety.

Analysis
Positives: Adequate height with wiry upper body strength and good muscle definition in his arms. Not your typical slight small-school receiver. Good initial quickness off the snap to get into his route. Reliable hands; snatches the ball and adjusts to poor throws. Gets up to high-point and secure the catch. Sinks his hips and displays quick feet going into and out of routes. Has good vision and is elusive running in the open field. Works hard to block downfield, and will sustain and even dominate against smaller corners. Experienced as a punt returner.

Negatives: Thin through the hips and legs. Gets a lot of his yardage after short routes, screens and swing passes. Lacks elite speed or quickness, but had enough to be special at the FCS level. Easily tripped up in the open field. Does not switch the ball to the outside hand. Despite his strong effort, he lacks the bulk and strength to be effective against NFL defenders. Dances and runs backward too much after the catch or on returns -- will not get away with that at the next level.

Nope, don't be worried. He's good.

JUCO kid. Continues to get better. Works hard, wants it. Made huge jump in his senior year.

Just like the D Manning pick, this is Lovie trusting his Texas ties. I'm on board.

Good height (basically 6'0") and great speed. Slight frame though. Considering the need we have at the position and lack of distinctly better talent available, it's hard to not like this pick. Cliff Levingston would've liked to see us get the value of Duke Robinson but maybe he'll fall to our next pick.

From what little there is on Youtube, he seems to always catch with his hands which is always something to get excited about.

The commentators said he was the 3rd fastest player in the NFL combine.
A plea for post scoring is a plausible Bulls plan, but plainly isn't a priority. In response to a post player's dismay about his lack of points in the paint, Paxson said.... "I'm not nearly as concerned about the offensive stuff as he is."

He has top-speed and good hands. That's simply a great combo for a wideout.

No way, I love Tom Waddle. He was my favorite Bear growing up, but no way. Tom was slow, a good route runner, a great blocker, and he had absolutely no speed, none.

Hes faster than that. Some sideline stop watches, which are considered to be a better gauge(since they average out the sideline watches from all the coaches), has him as the fastest guy in the combine.

The good thing about his speed is, its not straight-ahead speed, its quick explosions of bursts, so hopefully he can benefit off that with some mid range passing schemes, and sideline WR screen plays. The majority of his yardage in college was through screen plays or short WR flanks.

If Hester really makes the move @ WR, and I mean making a HUGE step up, legit 1st option. Then this guy can play what I originally thought Hester's role was going to be. Slot guy, speed option, 3rd and long reviever, 3rd or 4th option.

If Hester, Joakim juakim Wakeem whatever Inglesias and Knox pan out,

Hester
Julio
Knox
Olsen

thats [Hawk]good speed aboard[/Harrelson] for Cutler. And Forte would never see 8 in the box for the rest of his Bears career. He might see 6. It'll be like a cleanup hitter coming to the plate with a runner on second base every at bat. Its a dream
