Technically Basanez is a vetern backup QB...but I don't see why Hanie can't be the backup.

Of the two backups we have, I would like to see us go with Hanie. However, I'm not really that excited about what we have at the position after Cutler.

Chase Patton out of Missouri was also invited to camp. There was a huge article on him in ESPN Mag about him being a Matt Cassell type who is potentially a better pro than the starter Chase Daniels. I think he might wind up in the discussion pretty easily.

I think we bring a veteran in and most likely Hanie is #3, Bassanez is released, and Patton goes on our practice squad.

I'm so happy we have a real quarterback. Now I don't have to worry about this crap like usual.
