He's been an all-time superstar, hof, head coach. I'm sorry if there's a thread on this already. My cousin's have told me where Michael used to sink the Jazz, and i've been watching jerry every since about 98'. His tactics, schemes, playbooks they're all flawless.

As Utah Jazz fans, how do you feel that after such a long tenure Jerry has had that you haven't won a ship?

The Raptors are a new team, and god, they are horrible. I would readily trade our successes. But as such a great head coach i wish he would be able to win at least one ship before he retires.

Poor guy.

Thoughts?

This is a can of worms that has just been blow wide open... thanks.

There are a lot of differing opinions.

You are going to get a TON of heat for saying that
His tactics, schemes, playbooks they're all flawless.

Obviously you aren't a hardcore jazz fan and probably only watch periodically. His defensive schemes are far from flawless.

This board is fairly split on if they want him to go or stay. The people that want him gone are a bit more vocal.

We have not won a championship because the same things that make us win in the regular season are our downfall: coach is slow to adapt to change, substitutions based on timing rather than game flow, no concept of stopping a run, cannot motivate his players. The system works great when you are in the flow of the schedule with limited time for preparation, but when it becomes a chess match we lose because we rarely adapt.

Of course people running clinics about how to miss layups has nothing to do with our flaws....
