Love Wallace, like Okafor a lot, but we would seriously be lacking offensive punch and versatility at the 4 & 5. Would rather keep Boozer and send Millsap in a scenario where we lose Okur and get no offense in the front-court in return.

I have been wanting wallace for a while and in #'s this looks nice, but I think it sacrifices too much. Like someone said, who would score?

DWill could score. If he stopped passing altogether, it would cut down on his turnovers.

No doubt this deal improves the Jazz defensively but multiple posters have said it guts our team offensively - while I realize that these point averages change depending on team played for and teammates I'm still not certain it hurts us as bad offensively as many may think:

Gerald Wallace: 17 ppg
Boris Diaw: 13 ppg
Emeka Okafor: 13 ppg
Total: 43 ppg

Boozer: 17 ppg
Okur: 17 ppg
Kirilenko: 11 ppg
Total: 45 ppg

lets be honest, boozer wont average 17 points a game next year he will once again be averaging 20+ and okur will be at 18 plus we DO NOT want dwill taking on more then he currently does which really is one of our main issues this season.

Fair enough, so it becomes a 6 or 7 point difference instead of a couple points. I would agree that we don't need more points out of Dwill but also don't believe that would be necessary. Truly, due to the upgraded defense you don't need to replace all 7 points but for the sake of argument I think the points could easily be replaced from a combination of Brewer, Miles and Millsap. In fact, anything less than a couple point increase in output from each of those players would be a little disappointing.

Well, I would hope Miles would be the odd man out were we to acquire Wallace.

It would be a steal for the Jazz, but too many things have to happen, we have to be able to resign Boozer and Okur, which would like $30M combined, plus lets not forget Millsap who's going to demand around $10M, maybe a little less, preferably 10-12M long term, than 8-10M short term.

Ok that's one, then they have to let go of two solid defense players, both arguably better than anything they are getting in return, and on top of it all, Boris Diaw, who averaged 15ppg 6rpg 5apg .9spg .8bpg with great shooting from the floor, and he's was a three point threat for the Bobcats.

It's a wet dream, get over it.

And who exactly is going to be shooting 3s for us? This lineup would be a total disaster offensively.
Williams/Korver/Wallace/Sap/Okafor would have to be the starting lineup. Unfortunately, Brewer would become almost useless to us if we did this trade.
