Rondo. Better overall stats, and no games as bad as Allen's worst games.
And while Rose had better overall stats than Gordon, which might seem to give the defensive nod to Allen, we know Gordon was playing hurt.

Perk. He was a rock throughout the entire series - all 7 games.

Re: Celtics-Bulls Series Cigar
This is tough vote. I actually voted for Rondo because he was doing everything in this series, but Cisco's right- Perk was an absolute rock this whole series. He showed up with his lunch pail and hard hat every game and tried to do his best to make up for KG not being there, an impossible task.

Re: Celtics-Bulls Series Cigar
It's gotta be between Ray and Rondo.
I gave the nod to Ray because of his game winning three, his 51 pts in game 6, and his uncanny ability to hit from anywhere on the floor to keep us in games late. The guy was absolutely clutch when we needed it most.

Ray. Rondo sorta disappeared for the last two games. He still had a ton of assists, but he wasn't hitting shots or attacking the basket. I think he might be a little bit injured.
Edit..Just read this
Must be he was sick.

"Rondo didn't feel great at the beginning of the game," coach Doc Rivers said. "I don't know if he ate something, I don't know what it was, but you could see it."
Must be he was sick.

I'd say Rondo 1st, but Perk is 2nd--and none of the others are even close. (You gotta look at the full games, who makes the offense work, who provides the critical defense--not just a hot shooting quarter here or there.)

Not sure how anyone could conclude that Ray isn't close to Rondo or Perk. If you want to give it to Rondo, that's certainly understandable - averaging a triple double is no small feat. But Ray didn't just have a hot quarter or two. He kinda sorta had an epic series when it came to clutchness. And there's that little matter of 51. I suppose Game 1 could be held against him to a degree.

I had to go with Rondo. Nothing against Ray Ray, but Rondo was the best player on the court for the majority of the games.

Re: Celtics-Bulls Series Cigar
I gotta go with Ray Ray. Rondo was fantastic but who was hitting clutch shot after clutch shot in all these ridiculously close games? Not Rondo.
