Question about artest

I haven't seen much of his game .. I know he can score but is he a good 3 point shooter?

Just wanna know cuz in NBA 2k9 he has the 3pt symbol next to his name?

I would say he's a decent 3-point shooter. He's shot 36%, 38%, 40% over the past 3 three seasons, which certainly isn't bad considering the league average was at roughly 36%. He's no Ray Allen but if you give him those wide open 3s, he'll make them.

Our biggest complain is his poor shot-selection. He settles too much for the contested long jumpers when we feel he's much more effective at the low post.

Yeah not only will he take the open three, he'll take the contested ones as well. I guess thats the story they don't tell on 2k9.

True.... I'm not holding my breath whenever the ball gets in his hands like I was during the regular season. It got the point where you could count on him jacking up a bad shot when they passed to him.

Ya, He is going to make half of the 3 if his feet is set. Problem is that he always trying to take those wacky three pointer when someone is clearly in front of him.

Yeah his shot selection is just awful but when it goes in, were quiet

I was playing against my friend and I made about 20 something 3's in the 1st Rd but lost in the 2nd Rd.
