Speedy for Shaq
resign Marvin to qualifying
resign Flip to 3M
sign Kidd to MLE (or Bibby to MLE), Kidd might sign if he feels that the team could win and given the starting spot
Al/Shaq/Morris
Josh/Al/Morris
Marvin/Evans
Joe/Flip
Kidd/Acie/19th pick
even in his decline, Shaq is still a 15pt/10reb/1.5blk, 7'1 center (just keep his min under 25 in the reg season), and since Shaq only has one year left, and Marvin is only signed to a qualifying, the Hawks should have the cap room to go after Joe and Bosh in 2010

Not a cap expert but that looks impossible. Speedy and Shaq aren't even close in salary and w/e we sign Flip to cuts into our MLE which means no Kidd.

exactly right- you can't do speedy for shaq without renouncing marvin, bibby, zaza, and childress and even then I don't think the Hawks have enough room. We don't have any bird rights on Flip so you would have to use either caproom or part of the MLE to bring him back.

Harry, take this idea to http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine
There, they'll tell you:
To make your trade, you'll need to get rid of some salaries.
There, they'll tell you:
"The Hawks are over the cap, and their incoming salaries are greater than 125% plus $100,000 of their outgoing salaries. Cut $13,702,728 from the Hawks incoming trade value to make this trade successful.
To make your trade, you'll need to get rid of some salaries.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.
