Resigned, which Lee's already said he wouldn't do? You'd have to consider it.

Knicks resingn lee at 12 million and trade him for conley. Memphis is much better then they were last year when lee didnt want to play there. Mayo proved hes the real deal and gasol showed hes a good player too. I think this makes memphis a great team.

Lee doesn´t worth that much IMO

12M could land us Millsap or Boozer wich both are better fit

What Barba is saying is that the Grizz may be able to straight up sign Millsap or Boozer for that amount and still have Conley.

In my mind the Millsap and Lee are two 4's that the Grizz should seriously consider. The catch is that both are restricted. IMO $10-12 for Millsap/Lee is a good investment. I'd be happy with either. Boozer fills the needs - but I'm hesitant due to his "health" issues.

Millsap and Lee are very similar players. I agree that both would fit. However Utah has deron they dont need conley or anyone else Memphis would be willing to give up. As for Boozer he will want more money than that and isnt as good of a fit. Boozer is a low post scorer and wil demand touches. That will be hard to do with Rubio, Gay and particularly Mayo all on the same team.

Agreed. Considering the economy and number of teams that don't want to add 2010 salary, what if it was a more realistic $9 mil?

Personally, I think you should give NYK nothing, and just try to acquire him yourself in free agency.

Lee in the past has said he wouldn't re-sign with Memphis, so your proposed strategy may not work.

And it is fine to go after Milsap and Boozer, but what are the chances the Grizzlies will land them?

I agree that $9 million is more realistic.

As a Knicks fan, however, I wouldn't do this deal anyways. I wouldn't even think of trading Lee for Conley.

Knicks have to be crazy to trade Lee for Conley.
