Game 1 7:30 on Rogers Preview
Scouting Report:
Blue Jays: On Sunday against the White Sox at Rogers Centre, Halladay allowed two runs in seven innings for his eighth win of the season. Only one of the runs was earned, as Halladay committed a fielding error that allowed Chicago second baseman Chris Getz to get on base, and Getz eventually came around to score. Both runs were scored in the first inning. Halladay allowed six hits and one walk, striking out eight. He pounded the strike zone, throwing 77 of his 103 pitches for strikes.

Braves: Kawakami had a solid outing Saturday night against the Diamondbacks, but was saddled with the loss as Atlanta lost, 12-0, at Turner Field. The Japanese right-hander went five innings while giving up three runs on five hits. After struggling early, he retired the last eight men he faced. Kawakami has had command issues this season, averaging five walks per nine innings. Although he only walked one batter against the D-Backs, the 33-year-old rookie was burned by four extra-base hits. This will be his first career start against the Blue Jays
Roy Halladay (8-1, 2.78)

Kenshin Kawakami(2-5, 5.73)

Game 2 7:00 on Rogers Sportsnet
Scouting Report:
Blue Jays: Richmond fashioned arguably the strongest outing of his career on Monday, limiting the White Sox to no runs on five hits over seven innings in Toronto. After a late collapse by the Jays' bullpen, though, Richmond walked away with a no-decision. The 29-year-old rookie right-hander finished with seven strikeouts and only one walk in the effort. Richmond's performance was an impressive turnaround from his previous outing, during which he gave up five runs in just 1 2/3 innings in a loss to the Yankees on May 13. Richmond has never faced the Braves in his career.

Braves: Grasping his role as the Braves ace, Lowe has pitched at least seven innings and allowed less than three runs in four of his past five starts. While limiting the Rockies to two runs and three hits in eight innings on Monday night, the 35-year-old right-hander lost his bid to win five consecutive starts. Lowe is 3-4 with a 4.94 ERA in nine career starts against the Blue Jays. But he's 1-1 with a 2.49 ERA in his past three outings against them.

Scott Richmond (4-2, 3.64 )

vs

Derek Lowe (5-2, 3.58 ERA)

Game 3 1:30 on Rogers Preview
Scouting Report:
Blue Jays: Tallet turned in another solid performance in his last outing, but he wound up with a hard-luck loss due to an even better showing by Boston's Tim Wakefield. In the 2-1 defeat on Tuesday, Tallet allowed two runs on four hits with five strikeouts and two walks. Since moving out of the bullpen and into the rotation, Tallet has gone 2-2 with a 4.17 ERA in seven starts, limiting hitters to a .212 batting average over that span.

Braves: Jurrjens of late has been nothing short of unhittable for the Braves. The 23-year-old right-hander improved to 4-2 and lowered his ERA below 2.00 with another quality start against the Rockies on Tuesday. In that outing, Jurrjens went seven innings while allowing just three hits and one earned run and recording eight strikeouts. Last season, Jurrjens tossed a gem against the Blue Jays, going eight shutout innings and allowing just three hits. He now has six quality starts in his past seven outings.

Brian Tallet, LHP (2-2, 4.47)

vs

Jair Jurrjens, RHP (4-2, 1.96)

I will be at the game tonight! Roy Halladay vs. Kenshin Kamikaze? They might as well forfeit. I bet Bobby Cox will just start bunting to "manufacture runs" because the NL has so much more strategy, you know? Just like when Cox had Otis Nixon bunt at the end of the game in '92. OK I'm just rambling now.

We got this.

Finally the Raptors board has a link to the Jays board.

That should really help with bringing traffic here.

I'm watching the game on TBS. I'm looking forward to the Doc ass kissing-fest that's sure to come from the Braves commentators.

Holy sh*t. Just when I thought these guys would be better than Eckersley and Orsillo, they bust out a "How's it goin' eh?" for us Canadian viewers. Tool.

Uh oh, I'm kind of sick of hearing about this great Jays O the last 4 games by opposing announcers, they have stunk up the place now for about 29 innings, the Jays O is officially in a slump...Those great stats and top offensive rankings aren't going to last much longer..

AJ Burnett has given up his 8th, 9th and 10th HRs of the season to the Phils. That new bandbox in New York might drive him nuts.
