how about moving Lind to LF?
this idea came from an earlier discussion we had here in the forum talking about trading overbay for a better bat, but overbay hasn't been that bad to be moved this season. then i was thinking, what can the jays do to improve the lineup?
Lind is doing great as DH right now, but if we move him to LF and then add a better bat (via trade?) at DH, we can greatly improve. imagine if we shift the 5th spot and lower down one spot:
Scutaro (.299) R
Hill (.328) R
Rio (.276) R
Wells (.261) R
(new DH) <--- [Aubrey Huff comes to my mind (.259) L]
Lind (.297) L
Rolen (.308) R
Overbay (.276) L / Millar (.277) R
Barajas (.290) R
That's a pretty sick bottom half of the lineup, those guys are hitting close to .300 this season
Any comments about this?
Also, a question that I want to ask you all is that what should the jays do with a top heavy right-handed batters line up?

Re: lineup change idea - moving Lind back to LF
I like the idea, though idk if I would get a bat in a trade seeing how offense isn't our problem. But if we did depending on the hitter of course, I would rather put Lind in the 4th spot no way he deserves to be moved down, Wells in the 5th spot and that bat in the 6th spot.
And I don't think it really matters if the top of our lineup is right handed heavy, especially if they keep on hitting like this.

Lind's a good DH, I don't think his D is that great at LF.

I wonder what it would take to grab Adrian Gonzalez from the Padres. A helluva lot, I'm sure...
