Could the Hawks move up to the 5 slot with the rumor that Washington is trying to move out of that slot?
I would like to see what it would take to get Tyreke Evans. Could our #1 and Maurice Evans be enough to move up the ladder? We need to start grooming a PG and Evans has very good size that fits with this team.

Move up 14 spots in the draft with Mo Evans? No chance.

Re: Hawks to go to #5?
I wish. Mo Evans isn't enough. I would think the way to move up would be as part of a bigger deal or taking on a bad contract in the process. We don't really have the pieces to do that without it being a really major deal.
Our assets that could be dealt for a pick are:
Joe Johnson
Al Horford
Speedy Claxton
Mo Evans
Acie Law
Randolph Morris
Josh Smith (although I think there are restrictions involving him being matched).
IMO, they are either worth more than a pick or nowhere near worth a pick.

I think if you want the #5 it would be something like Horford for the #5 and Blatche.
