Sacto should offer Kevin Martin for Kevin Love and Etan Thomas OR Kevin Martin and Jason Thompson for Al Jefferson.

I'd do both deals if I were the Kings.

I would consider Martin and Thompson for Jefferson. Maybe. Can Thompson play Center?

How about Bynum and Ariza for Jefferson? Bynum is a pretty risky bet for a 20 and 10 machine like Jefferson.

Amare for Al and fillers that you want to get rid of.

Or, Amare and Alando Tucker or Jason Richardson, for Al and fillers, It doesn't really matter who, as long as the salaries match.

The Celtics don't have much to offer. Rondo and Baby for Big Al is probably the best thing we can offer.

What position does Minnesota need? If they needed a two guard, Rip Hamilton and Jason Maxiell and change (draft picks or whatnot) for Al.

Doesn't sound like a deal Minn would do but hey a man can dream............. a man can dream......

1. Youth
2. Center with size (that is young)

That is why Bynum interests me. Same with Thompson/Martin combo. Hamilton is way too old to even consider and Amare wouldn't be bad but he doesn't have the size to go with KLove.

Brad Miller, Tyrus Thomas, John Salmons (or Deng), 2010 1st for Jefferson and filler, can also try to slide Kirk in there somewhere if Salmons isn't going or we get some sort of guard back.

For Love...I don't know. His lack of salary makes it difficult.

FWIW, if Boston parted with Perkins I'd look at a 3 way along these lines...

Minny out: Jefferson
Minny in: Perkins, Rudy, Bill Walker

Boston out: Perkins, Rondo, Walker
Boston in: Jefferson, Sergio

Portland out: Rudy, Sergio
Portland in: Rondo

Minny:
Flynn(Rubio)/Telfair
Rudy/Brewer? Carney?
Brewer/Walker, Gomes
Love/Smith, Gomes
Perkins/Madsen, Love

Another crazy idea, especially in their own division, but what about the Jazz?

Jazz: S/T Millsap, Koufos, Brewer (or Knicks 2010 pick)
Minny: Jefferson

Minny has the capspace to (hopefully) take back any filler needed. Maybe Matt Harpring?

Then the Jazz follow it up with the Boozer/Rip trade.

Deron/Price
Rip/Miles/Almond
Korver/AK/Miles
Jefferson/AK
OKur/Jefferson/Collins

That's an absolutely frightening lineup. And Minny after that trade should look to move Rubio or Flynn for a big.

Since Al Jefferson is the Wolves #1 player, it would be nice if a few of these teams considered offering someone in their own top 3.

I would say the Wolves need a scoring wing desperately.

How does Portland only give that and get Rondo? There is no way we give Rondo, Perk and Walker for Big Al. I was just saying that the most we would offer is Rondo and Baby if we get Big Al and something else.

As previously mentioned, I think a deal of Al Jefferson for Kevin Martin would be something that both teams could do.

I don't think Kings would do Thompson & Martin for Jefferson, but can see Thompson being added in the deal, but there would have to be another desirable piece coming back to Sacramento.
