Re: Ariza to Houston
I actually would have preffered him to go to cleveland, it would have taken away their ability to offer Sheed anything
wont affect us at all really, Lakers lose him and gain Artest which is a slight improvement obviously.. but we'll see how that works out

Does this open up the possibility of a Battier deal?

I'd take Ariza over Artest any day. Atleast Ariza knows his roll on a team. Can't wait till Artest bodyslams Kobe during practice.

Yeah honestly I don't like this "trade" I guess you can call it for LA honestly. Not really their fault but I mean this team they had was proven to work. Now Artest will probably demand more shots and could ruin chemistry. Now maybe we should try to pry Battier from Houston because they aren't going anywhere this year without Yao, Artest, or TMac. Maybe we can get him expiring contracts and whatever.

I doubt Houston is just going to tank it and wait for the FA in 2010. More then likely they'll use Battier as a trade commodity in an effort to target a big man.
