Post#1 » by m23uza1hem36 » Tue Jul 7, 2009 5:23 am

Sorry I didn't have time to do the whole detailed thing, I'm flying to Orlando tomorrow and was preparing things.

We lost the first game 3-4...

Won the series thanks to a solid win from Luke French!! Also, having Clete Thomas back solidified the win. He had a nice bat tonight and even better defense.

Gotta say, Ni gives me more hope for our bullpen.

He's bound to come down to earth, but right now he looks solid.

French is pitching great in the 5 slot....very encouraging. I heard that Clete and Mags will split time in RF, with Clete playing against RHP, Mags against LHP.

Im cool with that

^ Me too, anything to get Maggz out of his funk.

I like Fu-Te Ni.... I'd like to see Perry called back up at some point, but our bullpen has looked good.

French has been good every appearance so far. Armando is starting to get his stuff back. If we can get a solid effort out of French each start, I would feel confident in our entire starting rotation.

The only thing that worries me at this point is Carlos Guillen. He hasn't been with the team for a long time. I hope he doesn't come in and mess up the chemistry that we have going. Plus it would be a shame to lose one of Clete/Anderson who have both been very solid for us.
