Looks like they went with John Kuester. Good news.

Re: Pistons to pursue Thibodeau
I'm wondering if Tom is seen as the kind of guy who is best suited to being an assistant. I just can't get the memory of him boderline panicking on the sideline when Doc got kicked out of a regular season game against Toronto. He's a defensive genius, but maybe that is where it ends with him.

Re: Pistons to pursue Thibodeau
It is possible that Thibodeau might only be that top assistant type guy. A few guys stick in my mind that fit that category Dick Harter who coached the Hornets then was always an assistant, Jimmy Rodgers coached the Celtics and timberwolves was the top assistant for KC Jones during the championship run, brendan suhr a top assistant for chuck Daly and a coach for toronto. None of these guys was successful as the top dog.
