Bobby Jackson

Any interest in Bobby Jackson as a back up PG ? I thinbk he still has 1 or 2 years left in him I'm sure we could get him with the vet min. I think he would be better than Lue at this point.

I used to really dig Bobby J but I think he had 1 or 2 years left 3 or 4 years ago.

Used to be awesome back in the Kings days when he backed up Bibby. Perhaps my favorite 6th man of the early 2000's. But I think he's pretty much done these days.

depends how well he does.

Unfortunately at this point Lue may be a much better option then him.

Which is a disgrace because I loved him as a backup in the day. You're protype of a SG/PG hybrid playing the point of these times.

if he'd come at the vet min, i think he might be a decent option. he played 71 games last year. shot horribly and had only 2 apg, but he never really was a PG. at the very least he's a great FT shooter to replace rondo at the end of games.

He has a good 30 or 40 years left on Planet Earth, easy.

In the NBA? Zero.

Meh. We need a point guard, not another undersized shooting guard, especially one that is constantly injured and hasn't been good since GWB's first term.

if anything lets give pruitt or another young guy a chance at it and if anything we can pick up a vet at midseason. i think its more important to address the issues at the 3 spot.

I think Bobby Jackson would be a great fit for a backup PG. Hes a veteran PG, and played well last yr in a limited role. This move resembles what Ainge did when he signed Cassell to finish off the season acouple yrs back.

Rondo / Jackson
Allen / House
Pierce / ???
KG / Wallace / BBD
Perkins / Wallace

Future developmental players: Giddens, Pruitt

One more piece would be missing.

I like the guy, but I really don't know how much he can possibly have left. It would be quite similar to when Danny picked up Sam I am like Edug mentioned above me. Hopefully if we got him, he'd be a little less of a ball hog though.

Why do people keep suggesting players like B.Jackson, G.Green, Fazekas, R.Swift, Justin Reed?
