Plea to Shrink

Post#1 » by HL Slamdunk » Thu Jul 23, 2009 8:32 pm

This is just a plea for shrink to start his own blog. He comes onto this forum with impressive take after impressive take. I would like to see those takes in more of a structured format. It would be very entertaining and informative if he would do that. What does everyone else think?

I say deal. But only if he allows some guest commentary from the Dr.

In the blog, Shrink could outline his master plan to create his ideal line-up:

PG: Cap Space/Rubio
SG: Expiring
SF: Cap Space
PF: Love
C: Jefferson

Bench:
Cap Space
Expiring
Cap Space
Ellington

...I kid, I kid

   I love how Rubio is backing up cap space. But i think shrink would have at least 1 trade exception off the bench.

I would also like people with insanely high IQs to receive lifetime bans, except for shrink, of course.

ROFL! Good stuff. Rubio backing up cap space is a classic!

I think if I went back, I had one trade on a special occasion where I wasn't trying to secure a little more cap space, but you guys nailed me pretty well!

I'll think about a blog. I'm a little busy right now, but it most likely would only be two major articles a week, maybe one on a section of the CBA, and another going in depth on a potential Wolves trade. Maybe I could also comment on the moves the Wolves, other teams, and the league office make regarding finances, and perhaps what we can expect. It doesn't sound like enough material though for a blog -- maybe some guest commentary.

PS - I predict we will see at least 2-3 more trades in the next 15 months that will exceed the Gasol trade.

Care to speculate on who?

New Orleans is an obvious guess due to the attempted Chandler trade and their cap/economic situation.

Washington if it doesn't come together this year?

Phoenix due to closing window on players' age and owner tendancies?

Milwaukee?

Who were you thinking might be a candidate?

shrink -

If you are interested in doing some guest writing on a blog, I could see what I could do about adding you as a writer for my blog (linked in sig). Right now it's me and one other guy.
