Hilton Armstrong to Memphis

I'm hearing from local radio stations in NO..that Hlton Armstrong being sent to Memphis is inevitable and as a salary dump for NO. But if its not just a salary dump..I'm thinking maybe Hilt for Gasol or Haddadi..Gasol expires the same time as Gay and Mayo...making him the odd man out on payday..then theres Haddadi...with Hilt..that would be 4 C's on the roster..even though Hilt is really a PF...so a swap of two virtually "useless" bigs??

... Oh you were serious. Marc Gasol for a guy who is worse than Hakim Warrick and just as expensive as he would have been? Yeah, I don't think that's gonna happen. And did you really call Marc Gasol a "useless big?"

Not that Hilton Armstrong may be coming to Memphis - the whole Marc Gasol "useless big" thing. :roll:

If he's getting traded to Memphis for a salary dump, it's most likely he's coming with 3mill and you'll get back a highly protected 2nd pick - nothing more. Basically, the Hornets will pay the Grizz to waive him. As for the "useless big" comment, I think the other posters have covered that one.

I was referring to the Iranian..I would NEVER disrespect the great Spaniard aka the other Gasol aka the better groomed younger brother..no but seriously, Gasol is nice and I'd love to get him. I'd expect Hilt to be a Grizz or on some other team for nothing more than a 2nd.
