I know there's a separate forum, but is there really no nats thread? Weird.
Sad to see Nick Johnson go. Then I read the analysis, management basically said, we have just as much a chance of getting him next year as a free agent, why not trade him for something? Makes sense, Florida had to give up a prospect to make a playoff run, nats have no chance at the playoffs, everybody wins!
Oh, and I was in Milwaukee last week and saw Willingham's two grand slams in person! W00t!

Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

Re: Go nats?
The Nats need to start paying me to watch their games. A few days ago, I turn on the game in the 8th inning and they're trailing 4-0. They then scored 6 in the bottom of the 8th and won 6-4. Yesterday, I turned on the game and they were down 6-0. When I turned it off they were winning 12-8. Coincidence? I think not.

I rock a Potomac nationals cap, their single A club, they put forth more effort.

They need to slow their roll, they have a chance to draft the Lebron of baseball next year. Unlike the NBA, they won't have to worry about lottery balls...
