Announcing: New Thunder Moderator

Post#1 » by wizkid27 » Mon Aug 10, 2009 1:08 pm

As we prepare to enter The Thunder's second season as a new NBA franchise, we've been making some offseason acquisitions of our own on the Thunder board here at RealGM. We felt like there was a need for another mod on this board in order to monitor the growing fan base, continue to help the boards grow/remain active, and ultimately just come up with better ideas than I can :)

So... SlickWatts will be joining us as a full-time moderator on the Thunder board. Slick always brings fresh insight, statistics and views to nearly every conversation on this board and has a lot of great ideas to bring to the table. Please welcome/congratulate him on this new position as we all hope for a better season both on the floor and on RealGM.

Thanks,
-wizkid

Congrats to slick watts on his appointment as a Thunder mod. This is a move that was in the works for a while now. I was only an interim mod here who's purpose was to keep order and fun here on the Thunder board along with rebuilding the community with the help of you the posters. Eventually my purpose grew here with the board in terms of help obtain a Thunder poster to be a mod here so everyone here would have someone to relate to on the board and that was wizkid27. Today completes the circle that Slick Watts officially replaces me as your new Thunder mod to partner alongside wizkid from here on. These two I believe have what it takes keep the board going in the right direction with the help of the current posters here in the community. A community cannot exist without ppl being a part of it. Groups can't operate without their leader(s) standing tall and guiding them forward to glory. With that said, I wish wizkid27 and Slick Watts the best of luck and success on being the Thunder mods on RGM.

Great I liked it better when I could bust slicks balls and not have to worry about suspension.

I don't think I'm above ball busting, it'd be a boring place if everyone agreed with everyone else.

Same here. I don't know what i'd do with myself if I wasn't allowed to post for a whole week.

Haha :)

Dick, I don't know what I'd do if you didn't post for a whole week! Err, wait...

Always nice to see you lurking around here though!
