With the news of SlickWatts joining us as the new moderator, SD2042 will be leaving our board. His job was always supposed to be a temporary one while this board grew into its own fan base and while we could establish a mod base of our own. He's stepped up quite a bit for a guy that isn't as much of a Thunder homer as I am. He'll still be around RealGM and still holds other mod positions, hopefully he'll be dropping in more than just during the Grizzlies/Thunder games this season!
Please thank SD for the time and effort he put into getting this board off of the ground and started down a good path!
Thanks,
-wizkid

Re: Goodbye for now SD2042
Thx for the words Brian. Well appreciate.
I believe the Thunder board will get even better as time goes along. With Slick Watts alongside, you and him will make a formiable team for the board to help keep it in the right direction for greatness. It can only work with the help of the posters of the community and mods being on the same page. Good ideas within reason can help strengthen and improve the board to better status. I believe it can happen with this board.
As for me, I've enjoyed my time here as a mod. I'm glad I was a part of the process to help get this community up and running from good ideas. I couldn't have done it w/o help from Brian and the posters. For that, thx for the help. It's would not have gotten as far as it did. I will continue to visit the Thunder board regularly and will drop a couple of post when warrent. Until then, congrats to Slick Watts on being the next Thunder mod and good luck to the Thunder board as it makes it's progress to better status.

Re: Goodbye for now SD2042
Somehow my post did not go through on Monday.
I want to thank SD2042 for steping in when I needed someone on such notice after the unexpected early move from Seattle.
It was a tough situation and one year later, SD2042 has helped together a good team of moderators for this forum.
Thank you so much for stepping in when I needed a hand SD2042.
