Celtics have the luck of the Irish without being Irish?

Now, I hate to bring up something as obviously irrelevant and crazy as this, but a team built around the ideals of Irish Americans certainly doesn't reflect itself well having basically no white superstar since Larry Bird. Anyway, this might seem racist, but the team is built on the ideals of the Irish, and when's the last time you ever saw an African American Irishman? I know you can't control who becomes great in this team, but there is still an awful lot of talented white guys you could've had over the years to bring more of that 80s feel of Bird and McHale back to the Celtics.

Probably one of the dumber things I've read in a long time. We're fortunate enough to be watching an all-time great Celtic in Pierce and one of the fiercest competitors in NBA history in KG - and you're complaining that they aren't white?
