I hope they do but chances are no. The only way I really see them re-signing him is if he comes back and puts up 25-9 or similar stats but I have a feeling he's going to be traded by Feb. It's a shame though considering they want to pay a 35 year old Nash 11M and a 37 year old Hill 3M, 14M going to those guys and they don't want to pay 6M more to a top 10 player in the league?

Going to be interesting to see what happens anyway...

If he comes back and plays at 23/8 or so, he'll get the max without a doubt. 25/9 is pushing it coming off that injury, but its MaryV, so whatever. We are very interested in keeping him as a fan base, and so is Kerr. If he wasn't, he would've pulled the Biedrins deal and put Clark into the starting lineup. He's stupid, but he's not (Please Use More Appropriate Word) (or so I hope).

I might be a little optimistic about this. I think he is going to explode this season and have a career season. I think a 27/10/2.5 season is not out of reach. He knows his value is all-time low and a contract season can do wonders. Offer him the max if he gets anything close to that. :D

Amare is going to have an insane season this year.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

+1

I think Miami wants to keep DWade. There's no reason they wouldn't want to.

Most likely assists. Amare won't have another defensive post presense he can get his weak side blocks from anymore and seeing how he's the biggest guy who can stay on the court, he'll likely do a fair bit of post defense himself meaning there's less opportunities for him to make blocks.

Also it's likely teams will throw the double team at him now that he's the only offensive post presence, he'll be looking to pass out of the double team.

23/8 are stats worth a max contract? Wow. I think that wold be underachieving for Amare...The guy is not worth max money unless he starts grabbing some rebounds. 8 a game is nothing for a guy his size and with his athleticism.

for amare it's now or never considering it's his contract year. I expect a career type of season if not he's gone. One thing though, we better resign Louuuuuuuu!!

Maybe if we could pair him up w/ someone but he can't be traded with anyone, damn trade clauses
