Kerr get Stephen Jackson

Post#1 » by Jdiddy701 » Sat Aug 29, 2009 1:51 am

Anyway we can get Stephen Jackson? He wants out and I think it'll be a biiiiigggg upgrade if we can get him for something. Jrich? R. Lopez? Can someone do it in the trade checker.. I never understand how that works

Maybe we can get a steal and get Anthony Randolph!! :D Oh please, lord.

No way in hell we get Randolph, he is their best player and he is a sophomore. No way in hell they take J-Rich back. Jackson isn't going anywhere.

Randolph is going to be such a good player. I see no reason why they wouldn't bring Jrich back. I hope Suns don't try to throw Amare at them, agian.

The Warriors would send the call straight to voicemail and only call back if Amare is involved.

I don't no dealings with GS unless it's JRich for S.Jax swap. They are not getting Amare.

Judging from the hatred Suns fans have against Amare, you'd wonder why they weren't willing to dump him at such a good deal. :D

Yeah I don't get the Amare hate myself. At worst he's a second option on a championship team and a top 15 player in the league. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side...

There are more haters then fans of Amare here because the guy is just flat out an a**hole, but the guy can play basketball, even though he is injury prone. I still refuse to agree with you Maryvale so I will say that he is not a top 15 player but maybe a top 16 player in the league, when he is not injured.

Why would Kerr trade for Jacko when the Suns are the team that got rid of him in the first place?

why is everyone so quick to include J-Rich in every damn trade talk ther has been on realgm??
j-rich is sooo underrated u hav NO idea... if we use him wisely, he can get us far..
what we should do, is trade pavlovic and dudley along with a 2nd round draft pick for jackson... idc wat the means are, as long as we keep Amare, Nash, Hill, J-Rich and Barbosa... every1 else can be offered in the trade talk..

if Kerr doesnt try to get jackson, then he is by far one of the dumbest GMs in NBA history..

I don't think Jackson is the determining factor for that. (Kerr has already submitted his app.... but alas...even in retirement, Isiah still looms large).

SJax would cost Sarver 16mill. Not worth it if you are writing the checks. We could spend money much wiser than signing another SG.

But reality is, and its hardly a Newsflash moondweller..... we won't increase this payroll by much if anything.... until we see what we really have.

There's absolutely no reason to go after Stephen Jackson. Between Jason Richardson and Leandro Barbosa, we have his skills covered.

Except for the main skill we want and need. Defense.

I agree that SJax is probably too expensive, but if it's between him and JRich, I'd probably take SJax. That guy can play D when he wants to and is a better play maker.

However as an overall package, I think JRich is the better fit. He's a better complement to Nash as he doesn't handle the ball as much and is a much better spot up shooter. Though SJax's defense in the back court with Nash would've been welcoming.

There is no doubt that SJax is a way better need fulfillment than JRich. He plays tough defense and is much more better of an allround player

WIN WIN

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... eId=nrgc9k

Jax steps right in at SG
Al goes nuts a la TT in PHX

DA would love Azubuike and JRich in run and gun

GS gets a good PG to either back up or play alongside Monta, and instant cap relief if they buy out Mobley

Harrington's big enough to body up most Cs anyway

Amare
Harrington
Hill
SJackson
Nash
---
Frye
Barbosa
Clark
Dudley
Dragic
Lou
RLopez

That team is NICE...And Al's expiring too

That's one hell of a SSOL team. Our back court defense would be pretty sweet as well with Hill and SJax covering Nash.
