Report: Sessions May Sign With TWolves.

Sounds like 4 years starting between 3 and 3.5. Nice consolation while you wait for Rubio; my guess is there's an early termination option after year 2.

Hope the Bucks find a way to match if this becomes official.

Thats doable, depending on the contract

ETO is nice if he blows up and wants a payday. Right about the time Rubes would come

I would be surprised and a little disappointed if this went through. I want to see Flynn get 35+ minutes per game at the PG next year, and I really can't see Sessions as happy with 12 minutes a game at Point and spot minutes at the 2.

You may want that, but I doubt thats whats best for him. Plus, at 6'3, he may be tall enough for the two of them to play together for short stints.

Sessions played significant minutes at the 2 this past season. He can't shoot, but he finds ways to get to the basket.

Just remembered that ETOs are only for contracts of 5 or more years. They can only occur after 4 years of a contract. And you can only have one player option year. So it would seem that this contract would run at least three years before any options come into play, if it is indeed a 4 year deal.

This guy can flat out play, I want Flynn to get as much playing time as possible, but I wouldn't be upset if the wolves can sign him. Career highs of 44 points and 24 assists.

I dont get it. A PG that cant shoot or defend, why didnt we just keep Telfair? Not saying Sessions isnt better, but if we sacrificed the productive Smith and Madsen's EC to get rid of Telfair's player option and then turn around and offer a 4 year deal to Sessions......i just dont get it.

I'd also be pretty surprised/confused by this. To be fair I guess, Sessions is a lot better than Telfair. I guess it makes sense from the perspective of adding talent/assets. I suppose I'd want to play Sessions off the ball with Flynn playing, and have Sessions play PG when Ellington is in.

Definitely a strange report.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Telfair isn't capable of playing any minutes at SG. That is a big difference between him and Sessions.

I agree with Tekkenlaw.

my only problem with him is overpaying him and losing a free agent at a need position down the road. He would be a solid addition to the team. May not be great at defending but he somehow manages to get things done. Definitely increases the talent base. Something i think we need with Ellington being unproven, Brewer just coming back from injury, Flynn never having played a game, Wilkens being eh..., and Brown/Atkins looking at being cut or traded.

Neither can shoot. Us Knick fans have been through this before. He is bad defensively and cant shoot. He can create for others but isnt that why you drafted flynn and rubio?

Also Kahn is a genius!!!!! A future lineup of Flynn-Sessions-Rubio(he supposingly is 7 feet tall now), Love, Jefferson is what every team dreams of.

I can't wait for this to become official, then hopefully the offer won't get matched.

I know casey was among some people that felt Telfair's 2010 PO was gonna hurt the team, i think this does more damage than Bassy if true. We'll see, but its feels like a knee-jerk reaction, and knee-jerk's dont often work. See Shaq/PHX, Kidd/DAL
