Luke McCown has been traded to the Jaguars for an undisclosed 2010 draft pick.

Not a surprise.

I think the trade is just a way of getting Freeman PT in what now is an obvious rebuilding year.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

Why not just have freeman start instead of leftwich obviously we are not going to make the playoffs andthe o line is good enough for him not get killed. give freeman some experiencce.

You'll see Freeman eventually.

I think it's a mistake to start a rookie right out of the gate.

One, Leftwich probably won't stay healthy, and two, this team reeks IMO, so Freeman will get his chance sooner or later.

It's rare when a rookie is successful at QB, and rushing someone into it can have a reverse effect on the player.

IMO, they should limit him this year if he has any chance of being a quality QB.
