Gibbons to be on the Fan after 8
I don't know why I'm posting this. Nobody's on this board this early in the morning. I don't even know why I'm here.

Didn't say much. They started out talking about how the Royals and the Jays seasons mirror eachother ie, strong starts, weak finishes. Then they went into talking a bit about how good Zack Greinke and Billy Butler are. They asked him why Vernon sucked and he said he didn't know but, that Vernon is still young enough that he could figure things out. The most revealing thing from the interview was when they asked him if Cito's assessment that Alex Rios wasn't a hard-worker was accurate and he said it was. He suggested it's because he has so much talent that things came easy to him. At the end of the call, they played one of those joke phone calls Landry does and he had a good laugh.
That's all I remember.

Wow, he said that about Rios? That signing is looking worse by the day. Even though their seasons mirrored each other I think the Jays have a brighter future. Only because of Doc though.
