San Antonio

I'm just wondering but how many of us is in San Antonio or used to live in San Antonio? I was just thinking that it's possible one of you guys are actually my school mate or something or that you lived across the block from me back then.

Me, I lived in San Antonio for 4 years. in 1995 I went to Thornton Elementary. 1996 I went to Rudder Middle School. 1999 and 2000 I went to John Marshall High School for my Freshman and Sophomore year.

I moved around. I lived in Rochelle Street my first couple of years. and then in 1999 got an apartment near the Medical Center. Anybody from around there?

1999 was awesome thou. We won the championship and everybody was just screaming and out on the streets and I was living in the suburbs man.. they said it was even whackier in downtown.

Cool post. A little different than the norm.

I am from San Antonio and live here at least for another week..my tour is up and I get stationed in San Diego. I went to Edison HS...fine SAISD school district. I joined the Navy May of 99' so my folks would send cut outs of the express news while i was in boot camp...that's how I learned the spurs won the championship. Die hard fan then the one year I leave we win...sucked but I'll take it. Watched the 03', 05' championships from the middle east at 3 in the morning. Nothing like hooting and howlering waking everyone up.

Enjoyed my season tickets last year but time to move on. No matter where I was in the world always read my Express News and kept up with the blogs. Finally figured I'd get an account and put my two cents in.
