Post#1 » by sonic-ben » Wed Sep 16, 2009 9:36 pm

As we look at this 2009 Basket ball team I see a lot of young Talent that gives me hope...
Durrant 6-11 SF
Westbrook 6-3 pg
Harden 6-5 sg
Green 6-9 SF
weaver 6-5
Sefolosha 6-7
Ibaka 6-10 PF
Mullen 7-2 C
White 6-9 PF

Yet this Year We need improvement across the board
epspecially at the 4 and 5 position

Next Year we possible get 2 lottery picks
Lots of good PF

exciting times

I'm not disagreeing that OKC has a bright future but, what is the correlation between height and talent? Of the players you mentioned the only players that are both tall and proven talents are: Durant, Green and maybe Sefolosha (even though 6-7 isn't that tall). Westbrook is short and very talented. Am I missing something here? Where's the analysis on the teams' future?

Again I ask, what is the correlation between talent and height? How can you respond to my post without answering the question I neatly laid out for you? Are you literate?

^That was 3 questions.

I'm sure that ben is literate, so no need for the insults :)

ben, I think what he's getting at is that all you really listed about each player was the height and their position, so he's assuming that if that was all that was worth noting, then you must see if as a defining piece of the team's future.

Not to get into this whole reach thing again, but Westbrook's about as long as O.J. Mayo. His height isn't a problem.

Westbrook is the PG... since when is 6'3" at PG short?
