A prime Kobe and Shaq?

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Mon Sep 21, 2009 7:05 pm

Lets say if Kobe now, played with the prime Shaq when we won the threepeat, and with a decent bench like we did with Shaw, Fox, Horry etc. Could they have put aside their differences as well as their problems, and if they did how many title would you think they would have won together?

A prime Kobe & Shaq with a decent bench would be almost unbeatable with the teams around now. The Spurs team with prime Duncan, Ginobli and Parker would be an apt rival.

Shaqs ego in his prime would not allow it. Kobes ego deffered to Shaq back then and now he defferes to his team mates because he knows they can score. it was the Kwames and Smushys of the world that brought the selfish in him.

If they both thought they were absolute equals it would work.

Co-MVPs every year would make it work
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

What if it was a prime Magic and prime Shaq would you take that over Shaq and Kobe in their primes? I never got to see Magic play like the way other fans have. There are youtube clips and nba classics that i have seen. Just the way Magic get the ball to his man on the inside is amazing. I would think that Shaq and Magic would be unbeatable.

Magic and Shaq on the same court together...I couldn't even imagine that.

If he felt like running, Shaq might average 40.

If Shaq and Kobe were the same size, who would be better. Kobe at Shaqs size or Shaq at Kobes size.

Man 40 is about right. Magic would get him the ball in scoring position relentlessly!
