Bobcats vs. Cavaliers 10\10

Post#1 » by e4Nf6 » Sun Oct 11, 2009 4:30 am

Bobcats preseason not exactly setting this board on fire.....

Bobcats lose to fall to 1-2 in the preseason

Crash and Jinx with big games....

http://www.nba.com/games/20091010/CLECHA/boxscore.html

Jinx on the night:
15 pts in 18mins on 7/11fg, 7 reb, 2 bs, 1 stl,

Highlights:

I noticed that Felton only has one 3pt attempt in some 53 mins of play so far...I hope this is permenant, as shooting less 3pointers would help his effiency a great deal.

Yeah well we aren't doing that badly, i mean each loss it hasn't been by a big margin which is good.

Jinx is suprising me a bit, each game seems like he's rebounding well and scoring alright aswell. Hopefully he can keep it up. Good to see Wallace play well.

I'm impressed with Jinx's shotblocking. Seems like listening to the coaches has payed off.

We sorely need this guy to give us 18-20 minutes a night. He is doing well so far.

Lex has been a pleasant surprise, hope that keeps up, but I have my doubts. I've seen the 2nd halfs of the last two games and the last quarter of the first. Cavs have been trying to find reserves that can shoot and rebound, so I'm not surprised we've been playing with them...but we've still lost to them, which shouldn't really be the case, imo. We ought to be beating a JJ Hickson, Andre Barrett, Coby Karl lead Cavs and we're not.

I think we have some more meaningful games coming up.

Dittos to you Walt. Takes many more games, and playing against set rotations, to tell where we are. I prefer to look for consistency over the preseason, or at least consistent progress game to game. The bean has improved and I hope he continues to. He's playing for his contract extension, but he also must know the opportunity in front of him. Of course, it will help getting Diaw and Chandler in the mix.

Nazr looks like the farmer's racehorse after the first 3 games. Lot's of early speed, then not much after the 1st turn. Hopefully he'll be able to play with some steady production in reserve this year.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

i only saw the 4th quarter and highlights.

how does dj go 0-4 from the ft line. wow. thats shocking.

jinx looking like tyson on those alley-oops. i think tyson will be great for his development.

how did henderson look? i didnt see him do much when i was watching.

seeing crash playing well is huge. we need him to start the season on fire. when he disappears so does this team. we cant afford for crash to have another ho hum november last in the past. we need post all-star break gerald from the start.
