Freeman to start against Packers

Post#1 » by Newz » Wed Oct 28, 2009 9:42 pm

Bucs just named Freeman their starter... So when they come off bye against Green Bay, that will be his first game.

I think this is awesome news, personally. Rookie QB making his first start gives us a much better chance to win.

Yeah I liked our chances regardless, but this should make it an even easier game.

It'd be nice if he got thrown into the fire right away and didn't have an extra week to prepare, but regardless, it should be taken as good news for us.

This would be awful news if our colors were blue and gold and we swung baseball bats. But I hope Charles is able to pick him off early and rattle him.

By the way, am I the only person who thought this was going to be about Antonio? I can't be the only one.

The only way I thought we'd struggle against TB is if we won yesterday. This game would've been the definition of a letdown game.

After yesterday's result, I don't see that happening at all. Step on their throats early and often and win this game by 3 TD's.

Uh oh. Yeah there are alot of people that were wrong on this one. Alot of Wisconsin media said this would be an easy win, well not so fast. In their defense it wasn't so much confidence in the Packers as it was for Tampa being so horrible coming into the game.

In hindsight this thread is pretty funny.

I thought Freeman played great today. Sure, plenty of mistakes. But it was the guy's first start. And he made plays.

Sorry guys. Apparently I gave MM too much credit in outcoaching Rahim Morris today.
