They don't want to give him an extension they want to save his money for cap room.
We should sign him to replace Josh good for nothing Boone and Sean Williams.

He's gonna want more money then he's worth, I'll pass. I had high hope for him coming out and he hasn't lived up to them.

If you are talking about in free agency, then yeah I'd give it some thought after the big signings. One guy that I hope we look at is Darko. He has size, defense, rebounding and passing that we need.

Eh, he's good. He definitely shows flashes to be very good, but then also looks like he is in a daze and doesn't care. I know he's still very young. We have enough young guys. He's going to want a decent contract that he isn't worth yet, so I'll pass every day of the week. We need a guy who is above average, is a leader (TT is nowhere near even average in leadership ability) and a guy who can consistantly produce NOW.

I'd consider it after we sign some guys that meet this mold, but I wouldn't lose sleep over missing out on TT if he proves me wrong.

I feel like he's a slightly more intelligent more athletic Sean Williams.

You don't want a headcase on your team.

Darko would be good off the bench make it happen Thorn.
By the way during shootaround I think Sean Will was high he was dribbling between his legs out of control and shot an airball or two.

I'd consider signing Darko for my intramural team but only because the guy we have right now has zero basketball ability.

I guess if my backup Center was between Darko or Boone I would take Darko but we can do better.

Darko gets a bad rap for being taken so high, but he's not a bad role player. He's not a great man to man defender, but is a solid help defender and shot blocker. He knows how to finish around the basketball and his jumper is decent. I'd be fine with him as a backup making Najera money, but nothing more than that. If we had to rely on him in bigger contexts though I'd walk into oncoming traffic, but saying he sucks is a pretty ignorant statement to me.

His confidence has regressed to where it was after his rookie season...
